Rimmel Colour Rush Lip Balm – Review & Swatches

Okay confession time – one of my guiltiest pleasures is lipstick.  Over the years I have spent, literally a FORTUNE on lipsticks (that’s maths I don’t even want to think about doing!).  Another confession is that I’m also a hoarder – and this how I know that I currently own over 150 lipsticks.  Nudes, berries, reds, pinks – I have a colour to suit whatever trend or look is in fashion – however out of this huge collection, I usually just wear 3.  Yes 3 – that’s just 2% of the lipstick that I own.  These three are Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Blushing Nude, L’Oreal Caresse in Romy and when I feel like I need a pick me up, Kardashian Beauty Joysick in Shocking Pink.       A few weeks ago though I discovered Rimmel Colour Rush Balm in Keep Mauving, and I fell in love.

I have super dry lips and quite often don’t like how certain lipsticks can feel – making my lips feel dry, flaky and just generally euck – and hence why 98% of my lipsticks have gone unworn.

But Colour Rush is different – these crayons are super mositurising without being too glossy, and are nicely pigmented.  There’s 5 colours available – and you can see swatches below.

Excuse the blueness – need some fake tan STAT!

But my fave is Keep on Mauving – a pinky mauve that’s fab for everyday wear, especially if you like a natural make up look.

So that brings me up to using 2.66% of my lipstick collection – I’m getting better!  That means I can buy some more, right!?
