It’s almost time to begin our winter skincare routine which is all about protecting the skin and avoiding dryness. Cleansers can be big culprits when it comes to removing moisture as they are often made up of lots of unnatural ingredients and can be harsh on the skin as they are made to remove layers of make- up. This autumn a new wave of cleansing balms have launched which are made to melt make up and add moisture to the skin. The latest brand to launch a cleansing balm is Trilogy.
Trilogy is known for using high concentrations of natural ingredients in their products and the Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm is no different. The balm contains mango seed butter which is anti-inflammatory is perfect for preventing breakouts. The balm also includes multi-use product of the moment coconut Oil which heals and repairs the skin. Rosehip oil is known to nourish, hydrate and restore the skin and Trilogy have added it to the new balm. The final ingredient is Sunflower seed oil which delivers essential fatty acids along with Vitamin E which is both an antioxidant and also maintains balance in the skin. The combination of these ingredients gives the balm a natural fragrance.
The balm comes with a Turkish Organic Cloth which should be wrung out in warm water and then used to remove the make- up and balm in one sweep.
If your skin is particularly dry a problem many of us do face in winter, apply a serum or moisturiser when finished.
The Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm (80ml) is now available on sammccauley.com and in selected stores for €24.90.
