Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation

Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation is a non invasive treatment ideal for anyone with larger pores, sun damage, age spots, mottled pigmentation and the symptoms of rosacea.

It would be great to look young and fresh forever, but unfortunately due to excessive sun exposure and decreased production of collagen as we age,  this is hard to achieve and wrinkles become begin to become more prominent along with pigmentation.

Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation is a Salon treatment which helps the face to look smoother by removing age spots and reducing pigmentation, and also reducing redness and high colouring by improving the texture of skin.

How does Ellipse work?

The flash lamp in the unique Ellipse IPL system produces light that is carefully filtered in two ways to ensure that only light with the correct characteristics (wavelengths) is allowed to reach the skin.

The light that is allowed through has been chosen because it is the wavelength that two natural body substances respond to.  Age spots contain a substance called melanin, while redness contains haemoglobin.  When cells that contain high levels of melanin or haemoglobin are hit with the right type of light, they heat up and are destroyed in milliseconds.

Is Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation painful?

Many clients describe it as a warming sensation on the skin similar to how skin feels after a day at the beach.

Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation is available in all Sam McCauley Beauty Salons.
